Ukrainska Pravda sources say Col. Emil Ishkulov, former commander of the 80th Air Assault Brigade and now deputy commander of the 7th Air Assault Corps, is set to take command of Ukraine’s 11th Army Corps, replacing Brig. Gen. Oleksii Maistrenko. The corps is defending the strategically important Sloviansk-Kramatorsk area. UP says Commander-in-Chief Mykhailo Drapatyi is effectively rehabilitating Ishkulov after his earlier removal by Oleksandr Syrskyi.
