Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed strikes on Russia’s Progress rocket and space center in Samara and Savasleyka airfield in Nizhny Novgorod region overnight. Progress produces Soyuz launch vehicles used to deploy Russian military, reconnaissance and communications spacecraft, including the Rassvet satellite-internet constellation. Savasleyka hosts MiG-31K aircraft used to launch Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles. Hits and subsequent fires were recorded at both sites.
