Blackwater founder Erik Prince launched Vectus Air Defense Systems, a company offering air defense as a subscription service. Rather than customers buying and integrating radars, EW systems, automatic guns and interceptors themselves, Vectus proposes turnkey protection for sites such as military bases, refineries, data centers and transport infrastructure. Ukrainian drone-tech company Swarmer owns 20% and will work on drone detection, tracking and group interception.
