Ukraine's General Staff confirmed Ukrainian forces struck the LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, overnight, causing a fire at the plant. The extent of damage is being assessed. The refinery has a capacity of around 17 million tonnes of oil per year and produces gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, sulfur and other petroleum products.
