❗️Belgium is refusing to use frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine despite a renewed push from Sweden, Poland, the Netherlands and Spain. "This is non-negotiable, the door is closed," Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken said. Most of the roughly €200 billion in immobilized Russian assets are held at Euroclear in Belgium. Francken said Prime Minister Bart De Wever would "stand firm," while warning Baltic states against repeatedly putting Belgium "in a corner."
