Ukraine's HUR says its operators struck Russia's Novorossiysk naval base overnight on September 9 as part of a joint deep-strike operation with other Ukrainian Defense Forces. The Project 11356 frigate Admiral Essen was hit, with HUR reporting a fire on its superstructure. The warship is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles.
