❗️Ukraine intercepts only about 60% of Russia's new jet-powered drones, compared with 90-95% for other models, FT reports. The Geran-4 and Geran-5 are faster and more advanced. The Geran-5 can reach speeds of up to 600 km/h, carry a 90 kg warhead and fly around 1,000 km. The drones are also equipped with thermal imaging, protected communications and AI-assisted guidance systems, making them increasingly difficult for Ukrainian defenses to intercept.
