Russian sources have published an obituary for Maj. Gen. Anton Grunis, commander of Russia's 4th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade. Grunis directly commanded Russian troops fighting against Ukraine, including on the Bakhmut and Kostiantynivka axes. He took command of the brigade after his predecessor, Vyacheslav Makarov, was killed. Grunis' reported death has not been officially confirmed.
