❗️Denmark is accelerating a 1.8 billion Danish kroner, or roughly $276 million, air-defense package for Ukraine after a Russian frigate fired flares toward a Danish military helicopter in international waters, narrowly missing the aircraft. Denmark said the helicopter had been attempting to photograph the warship when the flares were fired without warning. Defence Minister Jeppe Bruus said Copenhagen’s response would be to ramp up support for Ukraine faster than originally planned.
