Ukrainian attack drones struck the Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim Oil Refinery in Ufa this morning, more than 1,300 km from Ukraine’s border. Locals reported multiple explosions from the city’s heavy industrial area. Ufaneftekhim is part of Rosneft’s wider Ufa refining cluster alongside Bashneft-Novoil and Bashneft-UNPZ, with combined crude-processing capacity exceeding 23 million tonnes annually. The complex produces motor fuels, diesel, jet fuel and other petroleum products.
