Fourteen US senators from both parties urged Trump to withdraw Putin’s invitation to the G20 summit in Miami on Dec. 14-15 and prevent other sanctioned Russian officials from attending. In a letter to Trump, the lawmakers argued Putin’s participation could legitimize Russia’s government amid the war in Ukraine.
