Ukraine’s 1030th Aquila Air Defense Regiment is operating Britain’s RapidRanger air defense system in Kharkiv Oblast. The mobile system can detect targets at roughly 15 km and engage them at up to 6 km. Its current focus is intercepting Russian jet-powered Shaheds and Banderols. The crew can manually guide a missile by laser after launch, allowing it to track a maneuvering target.
