After a series of Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian data centers over four days, 78% of Yandex Cloud’s network stopped responding to outside connections, according to IODA data. The data shows availability dropping from nearly 100% to about 65% after the Sasovo data center was hit on October 8, then plunging to roughly 22% after the Vladimir facility was hit on October 11. Russia’s Digital Development Ministry called the attacks unprecedented in scale.
