NATO is ready to fight “tonight” if attacked, SACEUR Gen. Alexus Grynkewich said while presenting the alliance’s “Theory of Victory” in Warsaw. He said NATO would stop an attack on any ally and deny the aggressor its objectives. If the attack continued, NATO would destroy the military force committed against it and “absolutely everything” supporting, supplying and controlling that force. Grynkewich stressed that NATO remains a defensive alliance.
