Ukrainian forces have made several confirmed gains on the Velyka Novosilka axis in recent weeks, improving their positions and gradually pushing back Russian forward elements across a wider part of the front. Ukraine has largely shut down Russian infiltration attempts into Novopavlivka, while Russian groups in the forests between Filiia and Yalta have been pushed into an increasingly narrow area toward Dachne.Further south, Ukrainian units advanced from Yalta and Zirka toward Zaporizhzhia, which was liberated in recent days, and expanded their positions east of the settlement. Pressure on Dachne is now being applied from multiple directions along both sides of the Vovcha River, with the broader push developing toward Bahatyr. Ukrainian active defense operations also continue toward Fedorivka and Komar. Positions have improved around Perebudova and western Komar, while pressure continues along surrounding tree lines and approaches.
