Zelensky arrived at the EU leaders’ summit, where leaders will discuss further support for Ukraine, preparations for winter and the country’s accession to the European Union. “We want to end the war as soon as possible, but we see no signals that Russia is ready,” Zelensky said. He said Ukraine therefore needs to prepare for winter by strengthening its energy sector and air defenses and securing financing.
