❗️The European Commission is proposing another €21.3 billion under the SAFE program for EU defense procurement and is urging member states to involve Ukraine in joint purchases. Priority areas include air and missile defense, drones and counter-drone systems, ammunition and missiles. The money would be borrowed and repaid by EU countries, not transferred to Ukraine as an aid package, and can also be spent with Ukrainian manufacturers.
