Ukraine’s HUR says Russia had around 140 Su-34 fighter-bombers in service as of October 22. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, HUR counts 43 destroyed and another 7 damaged. If reports that two Su-34s were destroyed in today’s strike on Marinovka airfield are confirmed, total destroyed losses would rise to 45 and the operational fleet estimate to roughly 138. Russia is estimated to produce 14-18 Su-34s annually.
