Ukraine’s HUR, SBU and Navy shut down a Russian arms smuggling route across the Black Sea. For more than a year, services tracked a scheme moving contraband, weapons and Russian UAVs from occupied Abkhazia through civilian boats near Zmiinyi Island. In the final stage, participants were detained and 1,800 boxes of cigarettes, weapons, communications gear and a combat drone were seized.

Ukraine’s HUR says its operators have placed sections of the Berdyansk-Melitopol-Dzhankoi route under fire control, blocking Russia’s Crimea-Donetsk logistics corridor. The affected stretch runs through occupied territory between Sokolohirne in Kherson region and Yakymivka in Zaporizhzhia region.
